A 22-mile bike ride to the Tennessee River-what a great way to spend a lovely Saturday! Thankfully, it has not rained this weekend; I have needed some outdoor time for quite a while now. Plus, the bass fisherman were out at the river competing and some of them are too cute! I am so thankful for my Fuji Crosstown that my mom and stepdad gave me when I lived in D.C. It is such a comfortable bike, but it needs a tuneup.
Jenna is a trooper! She survived this biking adventure with me and did not seem to mind when I drew a lot of attention to ourselves at a busy intersection on the way home. At least no one died. Jenna owes me anyways; she locked herself out of her house (AGAIN!) while dog sitting and I, being the thug that I am, was at her rescue and in less than 60 seconds had her back in the house!!! True story. I am ghetto.
Tomorrow I need to pull weeds after church. Hopefully my legs will not be too sore for that. Actually, I hope my legs ARE sore. I love feeling the pain after a good workout!!! Please, Lord, let the rain hold off till Monday so I can run with Zack tomorrow!
